Position Title: Senior NetSuite Functional Consultant

About the Role

We need a financially savvy NetSuite expert to design and optimize integrations between Tekmetric (automotive repair software) and NetSuite, ensuring accurate financial reporting, GL sync, and compliance. You’ll be the key liaison between accounting teams and technical developers.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Financial Process Leadership:

• Align Tekmetric repair orders, invoices, and payments with NetSuite’s GL, AR, and revenue recognition.
• Configure multi-subsidiary financials, intercompany transactions, and tax mappings.
• Ensure GAAP compliance for automotive repair revenue streams (e.g., labor, parts, warranties).

✔ Integration & Data Integrity:

• Design mappings for financial data flows (e.g., Tekmetric → NetSuite journals, ARM/revenue schedules).
• Audit syncs to prevent gaps in COGS, inventory valuation, and month-end close.

✔ NetSuite Financial Configuration:

• Customize financial dashboards, saved searches, and reports for CFO/accounting teams.
• Optimize billing, payment processing, and reconciliation workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years configuring NetSuite Financials (GL, AR, AP, ARM, Fixed Assets).
• Expertise in automotive/manufacturing accounting (multi-location inventory, cost centers).
• Proven work with revenue recognition (ASC 606), tax rules, and financial integrations.
• Led 5+ full NetSuite implementations (focus on financial modules).
• Built integrations with APIs or middleware (Celigo/Boomi) for financial data.
• Certifications: NetSuite ERP Consultant, SuiteFoundation, or Accounting Background.
• Experience with Tekmetric, ShopWare, or auto repair RO systems.
• Knowledge of Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) for service-based billing.
